Included in the price of all USA holidays is a return transfer from Denver International Airport (DIA) (www.flydenver.com) to your holiday accomodation.
All our USA holidays run Saturday to Saturday and we request that you arrive at DIA airport for around 5pm local time (BST - 7 hours). This will allow for an afternoon transfer and an early evening arrival at your first destination.
Whilst we don't include flights in the price of our holidays, we are happy to help you find flights suitable for your itinerary. We have experience of finding great deals on flights and as such, we hope to find you the best deal possible.
We are happy for you to arrange your own flights too, but before paying for your flights, we recommend you confirm with us that your holiday has reached the minimum number required and is confirmed to go ahead.
Prices of flights fluctuate depending on when you book, although as a guide, you can expect to pay approximately £500-£900 for return flights to Denver from the UK. The price will also vary depending on which airline you choose so we recommend you shop around.
Many major airlines fly to the USA every day, however, the only airline to fly directly to Denver International Airport is British Airways (www.ba.com). These flights fly from Heathrow on a daily basis.
Flights from Gatwick (www.gatwickairport.com), Manchester (www.manchesterairport.co.uk), Birmingham (www.bhx.co.uk) and Glasgow (www.glasgowairport.com) are also available but these all have stops at different ‘hub’ airports in Central/Eastern United States. This option is often cheaper and breaks up your journey. You will however, have to pass through US Immigration and Customs and recheck your baggage at this ‘hub’ airport.
Baggage limits are subject to change and you should always check with the airline before you book a flight. Weight limits and the number of items of luggage allowed vary with different routes and different airlines. Also, it is the policy of many airlines to impose a surcharge for carriage of your bike (although this often means it is allowed to be a bit heavier than a standard piece of luggage). This is usually in the region of US$100 per flight, so it is worth finding out these details when comparing flight prices. If we find flights for you we will obviously let you know these details but if you book your own flights we strongly recommend that you are aware of the airline's baggage policy before you arrive at check in.
